ENGINEERS WITHOUT BORDERS

Delaware Professional Chapter

Building a better world by enabling sustainable communities.

The Delaware Professional Chapter is working with the Imurtot community in Kenya to provide a sustainable supply of fresh water. We are partnered with Water is Life Kenya as well as the local community to assess, design, and implement a sustainable and durable water catchment and storage system.

Get Involved

Engineers without Borders is always looking for new members and volunteers. We are not just an engineering organization, there are a lot of opportunities for non-engineering experience like health, education, graphic design, language, business, and may other backgrounds. We also have plenty of opportunities to support both the local and international communities.

Our Project

Our chapter is currently working on a rainwater harvesting project at Imurtot Primary School.

The proposed solution is to install a rainwater catchment system onto all viable school buildings.
