Project Update

The Chapter is excited to depart on its first implementation trip in February 2018! After nearly a year of hard work and getting approvals for our Alternative Analysis report and our Implementation Pre-trip Plan report we will be implementing rainwater catchment systems for two buildings at the Imurtot Primary School in Kenya. Each system consists of new metal gutters, a first flush system, and three storage tanks; all possible thanks to generous donations over the past two years. Once this implementation trip is complete, the chapter hopes to use momentum from the first trip and implement additional rainwater catchment systems in October of 2018. Thanks to all of the support from Chapter members, donors, and Water is Life Kenya, we expect 2018 to be our most impactful year yet!
